Baked Indian Pudding
Recipe
4 - cups of milk fresh or evaporated
1/3 - cup of cornmeal
1/2 - cup of molasses
1/4 - cup of raisins
1/4 - tsp. of salt
1/2 - tsp. of cinnamon
1/2 - tsp. of ginger
You will need a double boiler
Put the cornmeal in the double boiler
Pour the milk slowly over the cornmeal
Cook for 20 minutes
Add all the rest of the ingredients
Pour said concoction into a greased baking dish that
will hold it all
Bake for 2 hours in a slow oven ( 300 degrees)
Serve hot
