You will need;
1/2 lb. of chick peas
1/4 lb. of
linguica, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 medium onion, chopped
1 and 1/2 tsp. of salt
1 tbsp. of vinegar
Wash the peas and soak overnight in cold water enough
to cover the peas.
Drain the peas and pour them in a pan, cover with
water, add the linguica along with the rest of the
ingredients. Bring all of this to a boil, reduce to low
heat and cook for 3 hours.
