Beets Recipe
6
to 8 beets
2- tsp. of sugar
2- tbsp. of butter
1/2- cup of water
3- tbsp. of flour
1/2- cup of vinegar
1/4- tsp. of pepper
1/2- tsp. salt
Wash
the beets and cook in boiling
water until the skins loosen,
then drop them into cold water
and remove the skins. Dice the
beets and put them into a baking
dish. Make a sauce out of all
the other ingredients and pour
over the beets. Bake at 350
degrees for 1 and 1/2 hours.
This is one of my very favorite
dishes. I simply have to make it
more.
