Portuguese Beef Recipe
3 lb. roast beef
2 large onions, quartered
olive oil
1 tbsp. of crushed garlic
1 cup of white wine
1 cup of water
4 whole cloves
salt and pepper
Brown the roast( both sides) in a large enough pot in
olive oil.
Add the rest of the ingredients. Bring it to a boil then
cover and
reduce the heat. Cook for another 3 to 4 hours until
meat is tender.
Keep checking this because it might dry out. Add water
if it does.
