Rupsades or Portuguese Candy
1 cup of water
1 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
Boil all ingredients until it is
thick and brandy color.
Work small amounts on a cookie sheet
to form twists and wrap in wax paper.
You have to work fast because when it
cools it will not be pliable.
Be very careful this mixture is hot
and can burn you
